Training

Health and safety is paramount within the concrete industry and with our experience at EKC Systems, we are able to help Prestressing companies fulfil their duties by providing Prestressing Safety Awareness courses structured to individual company requirements. We have developed this over several years in conjunction with Proskills Global and undertake the training on behalf of Proskills Global to their stringent guidelines and providing a national register of trained operatives.

Calibration

EKC Systems Ltd offer an extensive calibration service for stressing jacks, beam testers and cube crushers. The service offers stressing jack and beam testing calibrations for up to 300kN and cube crushers up to 3000kN.

When calibrating cube crushers, it is necessary to have a minimum of 200mm daylight between plattens.

To ensure the correct loading is applied within all your prestressed products, equipment needs to be calibrated on a regular basis. All our calibrations are traceable to the National Physical Laboratory and complies to ISO:9001.

Mark’s contributions ensure our programs meet the evolving needs of the industry, keeping skills and safety at the forefront.
