Phase One Complete
Academy Database Now Live.
We’re pleased to confirm that Phase One of the Academy database is now fully operational.
With immediate effect, registrations and certification processing for the Safe Stressing of Precast Concrete Scheme are live and available to Proskills Global administrators.
This marks a significant step forward in modernising training certification, strengthening verification controls, and improving compliance management across the scheme.
What’s Changing
Electronic Certificates – Effective Immediately
All certificates will now be issued digitally.
- Certificates will be emailed directly to the appointed person who signed off the training.
- A copy will also be sent to the trainee, where a valid email address has been provided.
- If a trainee email address is not supplied or is illegible, the certificate will be issued solely to the responsible manager/appointed person.
Secure QR Code Authentication
Every certificate will now contain a unique personal QR code enabling secure, real-time authentication.
This allows responsible managers and certificate holders to verify credentials instantly.
Certificate Verification – What Can Be Confirmed
By scanning the QR code and entering the trainee’s date of birth (required for data protection compliance), authorised users can securely access:
- Trainee name
- Head and shoulders photograph (ID image)
- Training completion date
- Expiry date
- Modules completed and certified
- Annual CPD assessments (where a five-year training plan has been selected)
Requiring the trainee’s date of birth ensures records remain protected and prevents unauthorised access.
Important Update: Physical ID Cards
Physical identification cards will no longer be produced.
However, a compliant head and shoulders photograph remains mandatory for identification purposes. These images are securely stored within the Academy database and are embedded within the certificate verification report.
This transition supports a fully digital, secure and traceable certification system.
Phase Two – Now in Development
Upcoming Enhancements
- Upload and download capability for training documentation, including photographic evidence
- Secure login portals for appointed persons, including trainers and assessors
- Access to advanced reporting tools
- Automated electronic notifications
A Fully Digital Future
The completion of Phase One establishes the foundation for a modern, secure and scalable certification infrastructure.
Further updates will be provided as Phase Two progresses.
For administrators, trainers, and responsible managers, the Academy database now provides a faster, more secure, and fully authenticated certification process — built to support the Safe Stressing of Precast Concrete Scheme today and into the future.
