Set the Standard with Proskills Global’s Accreditation: In today's competitive market, it's crucial to ensure your training and assessment programmes meet national skills standards. This guarantees your training delivery is comprehensive and supreme in quality.
Proskills Global’s Partner Accreditation Scheme
Proskills Global’s Partner Accreditation Scheme symbolises professional recognition, certifying both businesses and individuals as proficient and competent in executing tasks with precision.
This validation is often earned through examination success, completion of comprehensive training programs, or demonstration of workplace competence.
Beyond evaluating your training methods, our services extend to NOS Mapping. Our experts carefully map your course content to current national occupational standards and regulatory mandates. These vital benchmarks are often intricate and easily overlooked, but ensure your training meets the comprehensive standards expected by your clientele. Failing to meet statutory requirements not only jeopardises customer satisfaction, but also risks their legal compliance – a risk no business can afford to ignore.
What are National Occupational Standards (NOS)
A National Occupational Standard (NOS) is a document that describes the knowledge, skills and understanding an individual needs to be competent at a job.
All of the completed and approved NOS are kept on a database – UK Standards. This is easily accessible and allows people to search for the different jobs they are interested in.
A NOS Strategy document is available that sets out the overall policy for NOS. To help develop the products there are two documents, the NOS Quality Criteria and a NOS Guide for Developers.
Taking a qualification based on NOS can help prove your competence to government bodies such as the HSE and can also in some cases reduce your business insurance premiums, but qualifications are not the only use for NOS Employers can use Occupational Standards (NOS) to assist with a range of activities in the workplace:
